About This Assessment
This test measures your numerical processing speed - a key component of fluid intelligence and executive function. Rapid arithmetic performance reflects the efficiency of your dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (calculation) and intraparietal sulcus (number sense).
Processing speed is one of the strongest predictors of cognitive performance across domains. This assessment uses time-pressured mental arithmetic to evaluate how quickly your brain can manipulate numerical information.
